Farm Veterinary Surgeon
The Oak Veterinary Group, Haverfordwest
Salary up to £70,000 DOE
We are proud to be shaping the future of large animal veterinary care in West Wales. Our three practices are working together in a more connected way than ever before — sharing knowledge, skills, and resources, while keeping each practice's unique identity at the heart of what we do. This innovation in how we operate allows us to deliver outstanding, consistent support to our farmers. Our practices are based in West Wales, offering a relaxed coastal lifestyle with great outdoor activities, affordable living, and a community feel, perfect for individuals, couples, or families.
Join our supportive multi-site team
We are looking for a motivated and team-focused Large Animal Vet to join our well-established group of practices covering the beautiful West Wales area. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a strengthened, supportive large-animal service across Priory Vets, Steffan Vets, and The Oak Veterinary Group. For further support you'll have access to IVC Evidensia's farm-support network, knowledge groups, and clinical resources.
Proud to Be Part of IVC Evidensia
At IVC Evidensia, we're driven by the passion and commitment of our people - across clinical, operational, and support teams. With over 2,500 clinics and hospitals in 20 countries and around 41,000 employees, we work together to care for around 25,000 animals every day. United by a shared purpose - Healthy Animals, Happy Owners - we're proud to champion long-term animal health and welfare through the dedication of every individual across our international network.
Why Join Us?
You'll be joining three respected practices that have come together to work collaboratively, sharing caseload, expertise, and on-call cover — creating a more stable and enjoyable working environment.
Are you looking for real clinical autonomy? We trust our Vets. You'll have the freedom to work cases up properly while being backed by a wider team for discussion, support, and second opinions. You'll see a varied and rewarding caseload from a wide range of dairy, beef, and smallholder work. If you have interests in fertility, herd health planning, youngstock, TBAS, surgery, or flock health, we will support you.
