Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Meetings & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Novotel & Ibis London Excel. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing successful meetings and events for our clients.

1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of meetings and events, from initial client inquiries to post-event follow-ups.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
3. Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.
4. Conduct site visits and prepare detailed proposals for clients.
5. Oversee event setup, including room layouts, audiovisual equipment, and catering arrangements.
6. Manage event-related communications, including invitations, confirmations, and post-event surveys.
7. Coordinate with various departments to ensure all event requirements are met.
8. Handle last-minute changes and resolve any issues that arise during events.
9. Prepare and distribute function sheets, contracts, and invoices.
10. Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports for management.
11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve event offerings.

Qualifications

Must have:

- Right to Work in the UK

- fluent in English (verbal and written)

- previous experience in a similar role (preferable)
