Join a leading front-line services provider as a HGV Technician, maintaining HGV fleets at a well-equipped workshop in Weston-Super-Mare. Ideal for an apprenticeship-trained or time-served engineer with strong diagnostics, servicing, and repair experience across commercial vehicles.
The HGV Technician Role
Service, repair, and maintain vehicles to DVSA/manufacturer standards
Diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Prep vehicles for MOT and complete all service documentation
Respond to breakdowns and support off-site recovery
Mentor apprentices and promote safe working practices
Carry out preventative maintenance and keep accurate records
What You Need As a Successful HGV Technician
HGV qualifications Parts 13 or equivalent
Proven commercial vehicle maintenance experience
Strong electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge
Able to work independently in a physically demanding role
HGV Class 2 licence desirable
