Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated National Account Manager to join our team in London HQ and occasionally visit SW England HQ. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing profitable relationships with major customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Nurturing Customer Relationships: Develop and manage strategic annual business plans to identify and maximise growth opportunities with key customers, primarily JLP.
* Performance Analysis and Budget Management: Analyse performance data, manage budgets, and report weekly financials to ensure seamless operation.
* New Business Development: Actively seek new sales opportunities across the UK and compile insights for new stockists.
* Product Range Management: Oversee product range management, from NPD implementation to POS material support.
* Bespoke Promotional Activity: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop tailored promotional activity focused on ROI.
* Retail Excellence and Training: Engage with the Sales and Education Lead to enhance in-store retail excellence and training.
* Training and Development: Support and conduct training activities to foster continuous improvement.
* Supply Chain Optimisation: Ensure forecast accuracy and optimal supply by working with the Forecasting Manager.
* Competitive Intelligence: Stay ahead of competitor activity and market trends.
About You
* Experience: Proven experience driving profitable growth within the UK wholesale/retail market.
* Customer Acumen: Experience dealing with the JLP accounts and/or with grocers such as Waitrose.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and ability to spot exciting opportunities.
* Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, financial acumen, and ambitious drive to succeed.
* Influencing Skills: Outstanding people, influencing, and collaboration skills.
