What You'll Be Doing:
As a Highway Operative, you'll be part of a team that maintains and improves roads and drainage systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Repairing and building roads, kerbs, and drainage systems
Installing and removing road signs, barriers, and fencing
Operating tools and machinery like concrete mixers, pumps, and rollers
Taking part in out-of-hours and winter maintenance work (on a rota)
Using a tablet to manage daily job records
Reading and working from site plans
Supporting other tasks as needed
? What We're Looking For:
A full UK driving licence (essential)
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work outdoors
Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines
Comfortable using basic technology (e.g. tablets)
