As a CNC Sliding Head Machinist, you’ll be working across a Citizen M32 and Citizen K16, producing tight-tolerance parts in a clean, well-organised environment. The position would suit a confident CNC Sliding Head Machinist who can programme, set, and operate, although strong setter/operators with sliding head experience will also be considered.
Key responsibilities of the CNC Sliding Head Machinist:
Programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head machines
Working on Citizen M32 and Citizen K16 machines
Editing programs at the machine to improve cycle times and quality
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Carrying out basic inspection to ensure components meet specificationEssential skills for the CNC Sliding Head Machinist:
Proven experience as a CNC Sliding Head Machinist
Strong knowledge of sliding head machining processes
Ability to set and operate independently
Confident working to tight tolerances
