Overview We’re a growing construction company looking for a creative and organised Marketing Assistant to join our head office team. You’ll be involved in a wide range of marketing tasks — from supporting campaign activity to creating content — and will also play a hands-on role in capturing on-site progress through photography and video. You’ll be based at head office but will regularly visit live construction sites to document our work, so confidence in fast-paced, practical environments is a must. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong interest in marketing, design, and content creation who’s eager to build real-world experience and grow their skills with the support of a collaborative team. Please note a portfolio is required for this position. Key Responsibilities - Visit live construction sites to capture photography and video showcasing project progress - Create engaging digital content for platforms like LinkedIn and TikTok - Support the design of internal and external presentations and marketing materials - Help manage marketing calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day admin - Liaise with project teams, clients, and partners regarding content permissions and NDAs - Assist in keeping marketing content on brand, up to date, and well-organised - Collaborate with different departments to help bring stories and successes to life - Contribute creative ideas to campaigns and team planning sessions Must-Have Skills & Qualities Creative and well-organised Confident communicator, both in person and online Comfortable liaising with site teams and visiting live construction environments Familiar with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and TikTok Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on top of admin Understanding of Canva and basic graphic design knowledge Good written English for reviewing or drafting captions and documents Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a sociable team Confident using Microsoft Office software. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Desirable (Nice to Have) Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) Basic photography and/or video editing experience Copywriting for digital channels (email, web, social media) Experience with Wordpress or any CMS platform Ability to compile basic reports or performance insights What We Offer A creative and supportive marketing team based in the head office The opportunity to document unique and exciting construction projects across London and the UK.
