About The Role
Please note: This role is full time 33hrs Nights, working on a seven day rota 8-8
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and supporting social activities, alongside medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key aspects of the role. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage time effectively are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
