Role Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned to the national curriculum, meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils
2. Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviour
3. Report on pupils’ progress and concerns, liaising with school staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met
4. Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips
5. Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and positive learning outcomes
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. A strong educational background to degree level
8. Previous successful teaching experience
9. Experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting
10. Experience of behaviour management and techniques
11. Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
12. Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing work
