Temporary Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator to join our client's finance team in Stockport.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and within deadlines
* Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
* Assist with supplier payment runs
* Carry out regular bank reconciliations
* Maintain petty cash, staff expenses, and company credit card records
* Update and maintain financial records and filing systems
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve account queries
* Provide general administrative support to the finance function
Requirements
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience using accounting software is advantageous
