Overview
Metrology Dimensional Analysis Engineer – Crewe – Contract (10 Months) – £34.85 per hour.
The Role
* Responsible for planning and managing project related activities on a daily basis for designated area.
* Responsible for reporting of status of activities in local area.
* Works cross functional to deliver project requirements for the department.
* Awareness of working with suppliers (internal & external) to maturate the quality status of parts and systems.
* Ability to use suitable measurement equipment to dimensionally measure, assess and create measurement reports for parts & sub systems.
* Ability to interrogate fitment process during building of system, property or vehicle and basic understanding of reasons for deviation.
Requirements
* Working knowledge in the use optical & tactical metrology equipment.
* Working knowledge of Reference points system, Engineering drawing, GD&T.
* Basic knowledge in CAD & Engineering based software in particular Catia & KVS.
* Comprehensive computer literacy in particular Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
