We are seeking a dynamic and driven Insurance Broker to join our team, focused on securing new clients through the sale of general insurance policies. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in commercial insurance, looking to develop their reputation both internally and externally as a knowledgeable and professional advisor. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers, while delivering high-quality advice and maintaining high conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secure new clients through effective sales of general insurance policies, both over the phone and in face-to-face meetings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients, ensuring a client-led approach.
* Leverage your expertise in commercial insurance, with a solid understanding of the legal context and operations of the insurance marketplace.
* Manage high volumes of inquiries while maintaining consistent conversion rates for quoting and selling to new clients.
* Project a professional and engaging image, with strong relationship-building, influencing, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience as an advisor in commercial insurance.
* Demonstrable success in providing telephone-based and in-person sales advice.
* Advantageous to hold a Cert/Diploma from CII (or willingness to achieve this as part of our offered package).
