Overview
We are recruiting a HR Advisor to support a family-run logistics business firm based in Wednesbury. The salary is from £32000 to £36000.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary HR contact for an allocated business area
* Lead employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability)
* Provide expert advice on complex and sensitive people matters
* Oversee HR operational activity, ensuring accurate and timely employee lifecycle processes
* Coach and support managers in effective people management
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies
* Support HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement
* Produce HR metrics and insights to identify trends and risks
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum)
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident managing ER cases independently
* Experience working with HR administration or shared service models
* Strong relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
