Job Description
We're looking for an innovative Senior Product Designer to join our team at Experian.
Reporting into the Head of Design, you'll be part of a diverse design team, shaping the design culture and ensuring the product design team is kept in the loop with what is happening across your business area. You will work in a cross-functional team to design and build experiments that validate strategic opportunities, considering the future implications on our existing products.
You will be comfortable working across the full end-to-end of the design process — conducting research, creating beautifully crafted UI, with a strong experimental mindset, rapid prototyping experience, and a track record of taking products from 0-1.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Director of Strategy and Product Manager to identify new growth opportunities and design experiments to validate these strategies. Collaborate mainly with external engineers and agencies to execute these ideas.
* Conduct user research, gather data to gain insights, validate assumptions, and ensure designs meet user needs while aligning with business goals.
* Create innovative product designs and rapid prototypes to test hypotheses and gather user feedback. Develop and execute growth experiments, focusing on learning just enough to inform next steps.
* Iterate on designs based on experimental results and user feedback to achieve optimal solutions.
* Lead and drive innovation initiatives forward, utilizing design system elements and considering future impacts on existing products and systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and commercial, to ensure successful product development and launch. Communicate design concepts, ideas, and progress effectively.
Qualifications
* Experience working in-house within cross-functional, Agile product teams on software products addressing complex user needs.
* A portfolio showcasing your strategy and process — not just final solutions. Include case studies demonstrating understanding of the problem space, design approach with hypotheses, and success metrics.
* Experience designing for native apps (iOS or Android) and responsive web designs.
* Familiarity with design systems; Figma is preferred.
* Fintech experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
Benefits include:
* Hybrid working
* Competitive compensation and discretionary bonus
* Core benefits like pension, healthcare, sharesave scheme, and more
* 25 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays, 3 volunteering days, with options to purchase additional leave
