Role Overview:
We're looking for an ESG Research Analyst to research the stewardship practices and disclosures of institutional investors for the benefit of all stakeholders, ranging from companies to regulators.
The role will be based in London, UK. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
* Research stewardship practices and disclosures of institutional investors.
* Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards in stewardship and responsible investment.
* Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to support clients' understanding of the stewardship landscape.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance AQTION's research methods and stewardship data.
* Engage with asset managers and corporate representatives to gather insights and promote best practices.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field (Master's preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in ESG research, proxy voting, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate complex information.
* Knowledge of corporate governance, stewardship codes, and voting guidelines.
* Proficiency in data analysis and ESG research tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised, with a keen attention to detail.
* Passion for sustainability and responsible investment.
Requirement Process
* There will likely be a large number of applications; as such, we may not be able to respond on an individual basis.
* The recruitment process involves an initial screener questionnaire, a case study, and two interviews (one in person).
* AQTION has adopted a hybrid work model where team members are expected to be in the office at least four days a week.
