Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in testing concrete, soils, aggregates and bituminous mixtures, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential to thrive in this position.
Key tasks
* Testing of construction materials
* Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
* Production of reports in line with QA systems
Qualifications
* No previous experience required as full training given
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
* Experience of laboratory testing of construction materials
* Health & safety focused approach
