We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Albavet Veterinary Surgeons.
Location: Burntisland, Dalgety Bay, Dunfermline, and Kirkcaldy (4 sites)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 20:00, with shared weekend rota

About The Role
The Veterinary Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front‑line experience for clients and staff.
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What We're Looking For In Our Veterinary Receptionist
* Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus.
* Resilient and able to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations.
* Excellent communicator with strong empathy.
* Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with members of the public.
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems.
