Overview
Are you an experienced, high calibre and immaculately presented Security Officer who possess an abundance of self‑pride? The Security and Protective Division at Bradburys Group is currently recruiting experienced Night‑shift Security Officers (Relief) for positions across Nottinghamshire.
Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all
* Demonstrate high customer-facing skills whilst remaining approachable and polite at all times
* Maintain daily security events/activity logs
* Enhance the client’s brand identity and reputation
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety within the specific work environment
* Liaise professionally with the police, client, management, visitors and contractors
* Lock/unlock buildings
* Identify and report any health and safety hazards
* Manage enquiries
* Submit reports and updates to operations management
* Respond to alarm activations
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of five years experience within the security industry
* Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence in Front-line Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection
* Five-year checkable work history
* Proof of Right to work in the UK
* Excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)
* Immaculate appearance and high standards of personal hygiene
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team
* Ability to adapt at all times
* Vigilant and alert at all times
* Excellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindset
* Confidence in your ability to manage difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
* Excellent time‑keeping/time management
Desirable But Not Essential
* SIA licence Public Space Surveillance (CCTV)
* Fire Marshal Qualification
* Full UK Driving licence
* Emergency First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid
