Were looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support the effective delivery of our HR operations across the organisation. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive HR environment.
The Role
As HR Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our HR function, supporting a wide range of day-to-day activities including:
* General HR administration and clerical tasks
* Recruitment coordination and onboarding
* Payroll support and data entry
* Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
* Supporting training programmes and internal communications
This is a key position, enabling the HR team to deliver a smooth, efficient, and people-first service.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the HR leadership team with planning departmental activities and projects
* Manage and update employee data in relevant HR systems
* Work with the Payroll Officer to process employee changes, set up new starters, and assist with monthly payroll tasks
* Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and monitor follow-up actions
* Handle enquiries via the central HR inbox and support recruitment processes
* Coordinate job adverts, liaise with hiring managers and agencies, and manage interview logistics
* Draft job descriptions, contracts of employment, offer letters, and other documentation
* Ensure onboarding tasks and recruitment administration are completed efficiently
* Generate HR reports and analyse data (e.g. turnover, benchmarking)
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files
* Support the planning and administration of staff training sessions

* Able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Quick to learn new systems and processes
* Genuinely interested in HR and supporting people
