We are seeking an exceptional Head of Strategic Talent Management to shape the talent management agenda.

In this senior leadership position, you will:

1. Design and deliver a talent strategy that directly supports our transformation priorities
2. Build a future‑focused approach to skills and capability development, ensuring we are ready for the challenges ahead
3. Shape a compelling employee value proposition that reflects who we are and who we aspire to be
4. Partner with senior leaders to further develop a cultivate a culture of inclusion, innovation, and high performance
5. Use insight and workforce intelligence to drive strategic decision‑making and sustainable workforce development
6. Lead system‑wide initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and support cultural change.

Working for our organisation

We’re an organisation that is getting better and betterand ourimprovements are driven by a determination to deliver care we’re proud of and our patients are happy with.

We operate from two main sites – KGH in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments with more than 346,000 people visiting them last year. We’re campaigning to secure the £35m we need to and get rid of corridor care.

We’re proud of our regional Neurosciences Centre, Radiotherapy Centre and Hyper Acute Stroke Unit. We’re also part of the.

We run a in Ilford; an in Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at and at. These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Education/ Qualifications

Essential criteria

13. Chartered Membership of CIPD or another relevant professional body or equivalent
14. Portfolio of certified/accredited professional development activity in relevant areas of practice e.g. L & D, Leadership/Management, Talent

Desirable criteria

15. Coaching qualification
16. Project management qualification or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

Essential criteria

17. Experience in developing and supporting talent management and succession strategies, including identifying and nurturing high-potential talent in complex organisations

Desirable criteria

18. Commercial awareness and ability to demonstrate ROI & value added from talent management activity
