About the job
As Digital sales and marketing executive at this business, you’ll create pipeline for our Retail Growth team through proactive outbound prospecting. You’ll identify and engage decision‑makers across grocery, convenience, health & beauty, value and specialist retail, driving interest and securing qualified meetings.
Success is measured by activity, quality conversations and meetings booked. You’ll confidently pitch the retail proposition, handle objections and move opportunities into the sales pipeline
This is a fast‑paced, performance‑driven role. You’ll own your targets, test messaging, refine your approach and build a repeatable outreach strategy. Training and clear KPIs are provided, but accountability is yours.
High performers will progress into Sales Executive or Account Manager roles.
Skills & Experience
• Strong outbound prospecting, lead generation, influencing and negotiation skills
• Excellent active listening and natural, unscripted engagement
• Creative problem‑solver who can shape solutions around client needs
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Personable, collaborative and quick to build rapport
• Relationship‑driven, with a focus on long‑term partnerships
• Experience creating sales materials like pitch decks and playbooks
• Confident using HubSpot (or similar CRM) and Microsoft/Google tools
• Industry contacts are a bonus
