Role Description
This is a contract role for a Tutor, based in Essex within the community. The Tutor will be responsible for firstly building a trusted relationship and connection with the student. planning and delivering individual and group lessons, creating customised learning materials tailored to each student's needs, and providing ongoing feedback and support. The Tutor will work closely with students and their families to foster a positive and conducive learning environment, actively listen to students needs, and adjust instructional methods accordingly to boost confidence and engagement.
Qualifications
* QTS or highly experienced in tutoring or teaching in an educational setting
* Skills in creating customised lessons and educational materials suited to the student's needs
* Proficiency in active listening and providing constructive feedback
* Experience or training in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Mental First Aid, and Safeguarding
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
* Passion for fostering a love of lifelong learning
* A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is essential
* Online DBS
* Level 2 Safeguarding
* Be subject to safer recruitment checks
