Working Hours Start Time: 7:30am Finish Time: 5:00pm Contracted Hours: 42 hours per week The Role Based within the depot, the Hire Desk Controller plays a pivotal role in frontline sales and customer service operations. Relationship building is central to success in this position. You will coordinate the full hire lifecycle — from order placement through to delivery and collection — liaising across depot functions to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Managing hire enquiries and processing orders Coordinating with stock teams, drivers, and engineers to minimise delays Ensuring equipment availability and timely fulfilment Maintaining regular customer communication Delivering a high standard of service to drive customer satisfaction This is a primarily desk-based role, working collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth depot operations.
