About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an established adult training centre for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality training to adult learners, supporting them in gaining practical skills and recognised qualifications to progress within the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, hands‑on plumbing training to adult learners
* Plan and prepare lessons in line with awarding body standards
* Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback
* Support learners with varying levels of experience and backgrounds
* Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
* ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications
* Proven industry experience as a plumber
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and motivate adult learners
* Commitment to safeguarding and learner success
Desirable
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
* Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/CAVA)
