WMC Training is a national apprenticeship provider specialising in Early Years and leadership development through government-funded, work-based training programmes.
We are expanding our commercial team and are seeking a high-calibre Business Development Consultant to generate new employer relationships and learner enrolments within the nursery sector.
This is a high-output role in a competitive market.
Success requires commercial credibility, resilience and consistent performance.
The role You will:
Generate new employer relationships across the Early Years sector through structured outbound activity
Convert employer conversations into funded learner starts
Engage nursery owners and senior managers with clarity and confidence
Identify workforce training needs and position appropriate apprenticeship solutions
Manage a disciplined pipeline of opportunities
Represent WMC professionally in a highly competitive environment
Deliver consistent results against defined targets
What we are looking for This role suits someone who:
Has a strong track record in consultative B2B sales
Is comfortable engaging SME owners and senior decision-makers
Can operate effectively in a high-contact, target-driven environment
Builds credibility quickly and maintains momentum
Demonstrates resilience and commercial discipline
Takes professional pride in consistent performance
Experience in education or apprenticeships is not essential.
Commercial maturity and the ability to convert opportunities into results are.
Package £30,000 basic salary
