Overview
Electrical Testing Techs & Electricians - Industrial & Electrical Panel Wiring & working in factories mainly on industrial type work, on the installation of electrical cable tray, ladder racking and electrical cables. Connecting electrical cables to panels & wiring electrical control panel and other electrical systems from electrical engineering drawings. Checking work & inspection and testing work depending on Skills & Quals.
Responsibilities
* Assisting Engineers & Skilled Trades with various electrical work.
* Carrying out electrical installation tasks and panel wiring as required by project drawings.
* Operate MEWP (Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker) where required and safe to do so.
Qualifications & Certifications
* Certs & Cards Required: C&G or NVQ 3, 17th Edition (ideally 18th Edition) & 2391 Electrical Engineering
* Current CSCS or ECS Card
* IPAF or MEWP Card
* Harness Training & Working at Heights Certifications
Hours of Work
Normally 07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday; Saturday if required.
Term of Work
2 to 4+ weeks, with potential for additional phases on this site and other local sites (e.g., Barnsley, Macclesfield). Typical total duration from 2 to 12+ weeks subject to attendance, performance and workload. The company aims to keep reliable workers on ongoing work within local areas with travel times of 20 to 50 minutes where possible.
