MBDA are recruiting for an exciting opportunity in a fast moving, unique, multi-national information management function.
Salary: Circa £55-65k depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

The opportunity:
Working within the Solutions team, you will be responsible for architecting solutions, forming functional and non-functional requirements, managing relationships with suppliers and internal customers, delivering technical solutions, and contributing to strategy.
With your knowledge of network design, configuration of servers, and solution architecture you will be contributing to meaningful programmes in the defence industry. This is a Linux-focused role, however the majority of our systems are Windows-based so some knowledge of both technologies is desirable.

What we're looking for from you:
1. Excellent working knowledge of linux-based systems and technologies, ideally specialising in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
2. Experience of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, MECM/SCCM and SQL Server.
3. Desirable to have understanding of Cloud Services such as Microsoft Azure (or equivalent) & integration into on premise solutions.
4. Proven skill in producing architectural and design documents such as high-level designs, low-level designs, specifications, and requirements.
5. Knowledge in containerisation & virtualisation technologies such as Kubernetes, VMWare, and Docker would be desirable.
6. Strong analytical skills, applying a methodical data-driven approach.
7. Understanding of best practices working in a high security, multiple network environment typical in the defence industry.
8. Ability to work effectively in multi-discipline, multi-cultural and diverse teams. Able to digest complex requirements and communicate solutions to varying levels of technical competency.
