Day to Day Duties
Your day-to-day duties as a Crane Operative with our client will be:
* Operation of Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) Cranes
* Load and unload rail wagons, road vehicles and inter-modal units as required in accordance with laid down instructions
* Secure loads properly using slings, chains, and other rigging equipment
* Inspect crane equipment and job site for potential safety hazards
Essential Skills
Essential skills needed to be a Crane Operative with our client are:
* Experience is preferred but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
* Able to work on own initiative as well as part of the team
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional telephone and email manner.
