This is a critical role supporting the day-to-day running of our finance team, with a strong emphasis on Excel reporting, data analysis and process improvement – perfect if you love digging into numbers and making things run smoother and faster. Key Responsibilities Raise daily purchase orders for fuel suppliers and record all fuel sales accurately on the Insphire platform Generate and issue timely sales invoices and credit notes for fuel deliveries Produce daily confirmed sales reports, customer fuel usage reports and month-end accrual reporting Maintain and update invoice trackers, fuel sales spreadsheets and reconciliation files using advanced Excel Conduct monthly fuel storage audits and ensure managed customers receive correct fuel allocations Support the Accounts Receivable team by chasing outstanding payments related to fuel Continuously improve processes, reporting accuracy and month-end close efficiency About you Proven experience working in a finance / accounts role Strong Excel skills – confident with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, IF formulas, charts and building management reports A natural problem-solver who loves improving processes and making reporting more efficient Excellent attention to detail and ability to work at pace Great communication skills – comfortable chasing customers professionally A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new systems (Sage 200 and Insphire desirable but not essential – we'll train you!). Experience in fuel, aviation, logistics or commodity trading is useful but not essential What We Offer Opportunities for training, development, and career progression including funding an AAT qualification.
