Corporate Tax Director
Bristol | Circa £88,000 – £115,000 | Permanent
This is one of the strongest corporate tax practices in the region and the Director role they are now recruiting is a significant one. The client base demands real advisory capability and they are looking for a Director who can lead on complex work, develop the team below them, and be a genuine presence in the market. Partnership is on the table and the firm has a history of promoting from within.
The Role
* Lead a portfolio of corporate tax clients, covering complex advisory mandates alongside oversight of compliance.
* Advise on group structures, transactions, reorganisations, and M&A tax, working alongside corporate finance and audit teams.
* Take technical ownership of complex matters across the portfolio, mentoring managers and seniors.
* Contribute to business development, including pitches and the development of existing client relationships.
* Work closely with Partners on the direction and growth of the corporate tax service line.
About You
* Qualified, with a tax-specific qualification. A strong corporate tax background at Director or Senior Manager level in practice.
* Technically excellent across corporate tax advisory, with transactional experience highly valued.
* Commercially astute, with the confidence to lead client relationships at a senior level.
* A credible senior presence who can develop the team as well as the portfolio.
