SEN Support Assistant (Part-time)

£13.83 - £16 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This large, two-form entry school in Speke, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to support children in a Year 2 and Year 5 class with additional needs. The role is part-time, working Thursdays and Fridays, and starting immediately. The school were marked as 'Good' in all areas following their most recent Ofsted inspection and it is located on a large attractive site with lots of green space which supports outdoor learning. The school building provides teachers and students with excellent facilities including generous ICT and library facilities which support life-long learning and a ‘Space for Sports and Arts’ for school and Community use.
Requirements
The desired SEN Support Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
