Property Manager\n\nAre you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of lettings? Our client specialises in providing high-quality, new-build family homes for rent across the UK.\n\nAbout the Role: As a Property Manager, you will play a key role as the main point of contact for customers. From the moment they move into their homes, you will be on hand to carry out move-in demonstrations, aid with day-to-day enquiries, repair requests, property inspections, renewals and contract extensions, check-outs and deposit releases plus provide any additional support that our customers or teams may require.\n\nTo be a successful Property Manager, you will need exceptional customer service and organisational skills, have an open, engaging and warm personality and be well presented.

You will also need to be an excellent communicator with an ability to adapt tone and approach dependent on situations.\n\nThis role is full time, based at lovely offices just opposite Reading train station.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLiaising with all customers from point of move in/tenancy commencement, being the sole point of contact for all customer enquires via email and telephone.\n\t\nOrganising and managing check-in, check-out and unit turn processes and deposit releases.\n\t\nTaking ownership of resolving and supporting with any incidents or issues which occur out of hours.\n\t\nResponsible for ensuring properties are compliant with legislation and risks are appropriately identified and managed.\n\t\nResponsible for logging any defects/repairs and maintenance issues onto database and assigning to relevant party/contractor for swift resolution.\n\t\nCarrying out home move-in demonstrations, inspections of vacant properties and annual landlord inspections.\n\t\nUndertake regular customer and community engagement activities.\n\t\nMonthly credit control and arrears management.\n\t\nKeeping accurate property management administration records and issuing any relevant notices.\n\t\nWork closely with Lettings Team to be available to meet with incoming tenants moving into their new homes, launch events and peak periods.\n\t\nProducing weekly and monthly reporting to Head of Department.\n\nSkills and Competencies\n\nProven experience in client-facing roles within property management, ideally with a background in Build-to-Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), or prominent leasing agencies.\n\t\nPossession of an ARLA Qualification is essential.\n\t\nOutstanding customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\t\nA dynamic and driven personality, with a strong zeal for the industry.\n\t\nExceptional organizational competencies.\n\t\nDemonstrate ability to work autonomously, confidently taking charge, making informed decisions, and initiating actions.\n\t\nProficient in presenting and interpreting information accurately and professionally.\n\t\nA collaborative team player who can inspire and motivate colleagues, effectively achieving goals collaboratively.\n\t\nInnovative problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and crafting effective resolutions.\n\t\nA strict adherence to confidentiality regarding all forms of information and data.\n\t\nAmbition to grow within a rapidly scaling company, with plenty of room for career advancement.\n\nWhat We’ll Offer:\n\nSociable Reading Office: Based just opposite Reading station, our office is buzzing with energy and conveniently located for your commute.\n\t\nSummer Social Events: Join us for exciting summer social events to unwind and connect with your colleagues.\n\t\nDeliveroo Wednesdays: Enjoy delicious treats with Deliveroo Wednesdays, our mid-week pick-me-up tradition.\n\nIf you're ready to join a fun, professional, and inclusive team where your talents are valued and opportunities for growth abound, then we want to hear from you
