Job Scope
We are seeking a highly experienced wellbeing therapist, qualified in skincare and body therapies, with an aptitude for training, a passion for holistic therapies, an interest in science and an in-depth knowledge of the skincare and spa industry. You will be responsible for delivering training courses including our brand philosophy, products, and treatments. Training courses will take place onsite at Heckfield Place, at partner spas globally, or via online platforms. Key Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding professional, theoretical and practical training on Wildsmith philosophy, product knowledge and hands on treatment training in the application of products, treatments and wellbeing practices.
* Deliver training both nationally and internationally to spa therapists and other related staff at accredited accounts (stores, spas, and hotels).
* Full responsibility for the running of efficient and effective training sessions. Work closely with the Head of Education to prepare bespoke training tools and presentations, whilst making sure the required documents and equipment are prepared.
* Post training, follow up with training feedback for all therapists and update any internal training records.
* Work closely with the Head of Education to deliver on-going training support where required.
* Assist the Head of Education in developing and updating treatment protocols, from in-depth consultation tools to training manuals and training videos.
* Represent and demonstrate the brand standards of Wildsmith ensuring all training areas are hygienic, stock is displayed appropriately, and the necessary stock levels are maintained for both retail and professional stock.
* In addition to training this role will need to support with carrying out treatments at pop-ups, visiting practitioner at selected properties, performing new prospect treatment experiences, trade shows, beauty rooms, VIP and press appointments.
* Stay up to date with all company information including new product launches, sales aids and ensure that the information communicated is accurate and up to date.
Requirements
* Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Beauty therapy qualification.
* Previous experience in luxury 5-star hotel and spa setting.
* Previous training experience with a skincare brand and/or experience as a head therapist/in-house trainer or spa manager in a luxury 5-star spa environment.
* Previous experience performing treatments on VIP’s and press.
* Confident in small and large group training sessions.
* Confident in training and communicating with teams who are multilingual/cultural.
* Comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint/Word/Excel etc and digital learning platforms.
* A clear and effective communicator (in both written and verbal).
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with spa managers, therapists and receptionists.
* Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude.
* Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative ideas.
* A keen interest in sustainability, wellbeing, and beauty, keeping up to date with industry innovations and our competitor activity.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Be based within reasonable commuting distance to our London Head Office.
* Full clean driving license with own vehicle.
* Full passport with no restrictions - the role will include periods of overseas travel.
* Flexible to work/travel evening and weekends, as required.
