Job Title: Graduate Town Planner
Location: Cambridge
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join a growing Planning & Development team based in Cambridge. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use, commercial, and strategic development projects across the region.
You will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning process from initial site appraisals through to application submissions and project delivery, working alongside experienced planners in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
Undertaking planning research, policy reviews, and site appraisals
Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation
Liaising with local authorities, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Supporting senior planners across a range of development projects
Monitoring planning policy and legislative updatesAbout You
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop professionally
Interest in working towards RTPI accreditation/MRTPI status
Previous planning experience or internship beneficial but not essentialWhat's on Offer
