Administrative Coordinator
Location: Cardiff - Hybrid
Pay rate: £15.59 per hour
Contract: Temporary until 31st January 2027
Hours: 37, Monday-Friday
About the Role
We’re recruiting an Administrative Coordinator to provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support for our prestigious public sector client.
This role is more technical than a traditional administrative position and will suit someone who is confident working with data, particularly Excel, and comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders to gather, validate and maintain accurate information.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining and updating spreadsheets, ensuring data is accurate, clean and well‑structured
* Inputting, populating and reconciling data across multiple Excel documents
* Identifying gaps or missing information and proactively working with stakeholders to obtain it
* Attending meetings, taking clear and accurate minutes, and following up on actions
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather, clarify and confirm information
* Producing and formatting documents, reports and trackers using MS Office
* Supporting general administrative processes and coordination activities as required
You will have:
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data sets
* Good overall competency across Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
* Experience inputting, maintaining and quality‑checking data
* The confidence to approach stakeholders to request information and resolve data gaps
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
