Service Access Advisor
n-compass provides health and social care services across the North of England. We support over 30,000 adults and young people to stay well each year. Service Access Advisors are often the first point of contact for individuals and professionals wishing to refer people into our services and are responsible for screening and signposting referrals and resolving any immediate issues at first contact. This is a busy and dynamic team receiving and making in the region of 35,000 calls per annum covering our Carers, Counselling and Wellbeing Services.
Our Service Access team has a vacancy for a full-time, customer service advisor, who willthe benefits of true hybrid working between our office on the Docklands in Preston & home.
Full training will be provided, however we are looking for applicants with goodcustomer service skills and the ability to demonstrate:
Sound listening skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
The drive to manage a complex workload
Good IT skills
The ability to collect and record data accurately
Key duties will include:
Responding to initial customer contacts using various methods of communication, including telephone, text messaging, written, email and online, within agreed timescales
Using a triage approach resolve any immediate enquiries/needs
Assessing eligibility for n-compass services and making appropriate referrals
Signposting to additional services and support
Recording data accurately and in a timely manner
Managing safeguarding situations in line with policy
