Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hospital - Band 6 - Kent
Are you a Pharmacist seeking a new opportunity? Do you want to develop your skillset? Hunter Gatherer AHP have locum opportunities for Pharmacists seeking hospital-based positions in Kent.
The team are seeking Pharmacists to join their dispensary team from April 2024. This is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as training will be provided across the various dispensary aspects of the role depending on your skill set. You do not need to have previous hospital experience.
Duties of a Dispensary Pharmacist
* To take professional responsibility for the clinical screening of prescriptions to ensure the accuracy, legality, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medication in line with pharmacy SOP
* To identify potential risks to patients when screening prescriptions and resolve relevant issues prior to dispensing
* To liaise with doctors and nurses to resolve any queries arising from the screening process
* To provide advice on the safe prescribing and administration of medicines
* To participate in stock review, including controlled drugs and ensure medicines are kept safely and securel

- NHS Hospital, Kent
- £24 - £28 hourly rate (dependent on experience)
- GPhC Registration required
- Ongoing contract, possibility to go permanent upon review
- Flexible hours and indeminity insurance covered
