This is a full-time, permanent position working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, offering an excellent work-life balance with no weekend requirements. The Opportunity As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient journey. Working closely with your colleagues, you will provide expert advice and tailored solutions to meet each patient’s individual visual and lifestyle needs. The practice is equipped with modern diagnostic technology and offers a carefully curated range of high-quality spectacle lenses, frames, and contact lenses, allowing you to deliver the highest standards of care. Your role will include: Dispensing, fitting and adjusting spectacles Providing expert frame styling and lens recommendations Supporting patients with contact lens advice and training where required Delivering exceptional service throughout the entire patient journey Working collaboratively with the clinical and support team Building long-term relationships with patients based on trust and expertise Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need: GOC registration as a Dispensing Optician FBDO qualification Previous experience working within an optical practice A passion for delivering exceptional patient care Strong communication and interpersonal skills A professional and patient-focused approach Why BlackSquare?
