We are looking for an Estates Finance Officer to deliver the day to day purchasing function for the department. This is a key role with a wide range of duties, which will include providing an efficient and flexible procurement service to achieve best value solutions, maintenance of budgets and system administration. The appointed candidate will be an efficient and accurate administrator with experience in a procurement administration role, or similar. Ability to prioritise workload, adhere to deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of attention to detail is essential. Knowledge and understanding of a school or boarding environment is an advantage, but not essential.

Contract: This is a full-time, permanent contract. The first six months will be a probationary period.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. Core working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, however there is some flexibility on the shift pattern. Some weekend work may be required to support the department’s needs, for which time off in lieu will be given.

Holiday: 30 days per annum, plus bank holidays.

Salary: £33,000 - £41,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
