Description
At Amplience, we’re transforming how global brands create, manage and deliver content. Our platform brings together Content Management System, Data Assest Management and Content Supply Chain solutions so retailers can move faster, smarter and with confidence.
Our vision is simple but bold: a world where content moves at the speed of ideas.
We’re growing and doing things differently. That means flexibility in how and where you work, a genuinely collaborative culture, and the chance to learn from smart people solving real-world problems. We believe great work happens when people feel supported, trusted and able to live well outside of work.
What you’ll be doing
As a Software Engineer with a strong Site Reliability background, you will design, build and maintain the services and tooling that ensure our platform remains stable, scalable and observable. By contributing to the reliability of systems across the entire customer journey, from content delivery to back-office management systems, you will ensure a seamless and dependable experience for our customers and their end-users.
In this role, you will adopt an API-first approach, collaborate closely with other engineering teams and product stakeholders and work extensively with AWS and Datadog. You will also be expected to pick up new projects quickly, work autonomously, and champion modern SRE practices across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
Along with a strong background in software engineering (ideally Java and TypeScript) to build and maintain high-quality, maintainable services and APIs, you’ll have hands-on experience with AWS, observability tooling (ideally Datadog), and CI/CD pipelines to ensure systems are reliable and production-ready. You should also be able to demonstrate how you’ve applied modern SRE and software engineering practices to ensure reliability improvements have meaningful user impact. This will involve having a passion for technology, curiosity and an aptitude to learn.
If you’re excited by technology, have a passion for learning and want to be part of a company shaping the future of commerce content, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Hiring Process
We understand that finding the right fit is a two-way conversation, so we strive to make our hiring process transparent, respectful of your time, and clear at every stage.
While the specific steps may vary depending on the role, our process typically begins with an introductory conversation with our People team, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager. At this stage, you’ll learn more about the role, the team, and the journey ahead.
The hiring manager will outline what to expect, including opportunities to meet cross-functional peers, key stakeholders, and members of our leadership team.
Most roles include a panel interview and a short presentation, designed to give you the chance to showcase your thinking, approach and suitability for the role. We conclude with a 15-minute culture alignment conversation with the relevant department head, typically a member of our executive leadership team.
Throughout the process, we’re committed to open communication, timely feedback, and creating a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.
