Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Landscaper to join our team. As an apprentice you’ll learn the trade through on‑the‑job training and support, assisting with a range of landscaping tasks to develop hands‑on experience and progress towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the construction and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes
* Prepare job sites (e.g., clear debris, dig, level soil)
* Plant trees, shrubs and other greenery according to plans
* Lay turf, paving, retaining walls and irrigation systems
* Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely
* Follow instructions from senior team members and supervisors
* Clean up job sites and maintain a tidy work environment
* Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and policies
* Attend and participate in training sessions or coursework (if part of a formal apprenticeship)
Skills & Experience
* Genuine interest in landscaping and outdoor work
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
* Good communication skills and team attitudePunctual and reliable
* Driver’s licence (preferred but not always required)
