At Fitshop, we have an excellent opportunity for a part time Retail Sales Advisor based at our Edinburgh store. We believe it is important to provide quality support for our Customers. We need our Retail Sales team to be confident, polite and personable individuals with outstanding communication skills to provide a first class customer journey in store (and on the telephone when appropriate).

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure a first class customer journey and in-store sales experience by being approachable and delivering friendly customer service
* Achieve and exceed daily, monthly and annual sales targets
* Build an in-depth knowledge of our products and services to enable providing outstanding support to customers
* Confidently manage the full customer journey with ease to delight customers, aiming to positively impact our trust pilot score and ensure repeat business
* Work with the store manager and assistant manager to replenish stock, visual merchandising and ensure stock remains clean and well presented
* Support with stock checks and changes to shop layout as directed by the retail management team
* When trained, comply with cash handling and cash reconciliation and banking procedures
* Support by bringing and implementing footfall driving activities such as demonstrations, price promotions and other marketing activities
* Maintain a safe environment on the shop floor for the team and customers
* When trained, be a key holder for the store and adhere to security and safety requirements
* Continuously pursue personal improvement, grow and develop yourself and the team, and support relevant training and manual preparation
Qualifications and Skills
* Maintain a calm, confident and enthusiastic manner when dealing with customers
* Make recommendations to customers and close sales
* Have confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Understand the customer journey and how to create a welcoming store environment
* Generate sales consistently
* Work collaboratively as part of a wider team
* Use own initiative and be self‑motivated
