Hinkley Point C is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years !! Based in Somerset it will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and career opportunities.
What you'll be doing
Role Purpose
1. You will fulfil the Internal Audit programme and report findings to QA Manager and Area QA Leads.
2. Assist the area lead in ensuring that the Project Quality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented and to ensure that Client and statutory requirements are effectively met.
3. Support the Quality Assurance Area Lead for the activities such as developing standards, incorporating lessons learned / best practices in the quality system, training on quality, audits and quality improvements.
Who we're looking for
4. Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
5. Preferred membership of Chartered Quality Institute or similar
6. Lead auditor training 9001:2015 or equivalent and passed, preferably IRCA registered
7. Experience in Quality or Audit positions.
8. Experience with internal auditing with major projects
9. Nuclear or other regulated industry experience beneficial
10. Working in Alliance agreement projects beneficial
