Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Equestrian Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating riders of all levels. This role involves developing training programmes, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of both riders and horses.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement tailored training programmes for riders, focusing on skill development and performance improvement.
* Conduct individual and group coaching sessions, providing constructive feedback to enhance rider technique.
* Educate students on horse care, riding techniques, and competition preparation.
* Monitor the progress of riders and adjust training plans as necessary to meet their goals.
* Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during lessons and events.
* Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and growth.
* Collaborate with other staff members to organise events, competitions, and workshops.
Experience
* Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in equestrian disciplines.
* Strong educational background in equestrian studies or related fields is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels.
* A passion for horses and a solid understanding of their behaviour and care is essential.
* Previous experience in teaching or coaching roles will be an advantage.
