As a Data Analyst, you’ll uncover insights, trends and performance patterns that inform our creative strategy and strengthen the impact of our campaigns worldwide. Your Key Responsibilities And Impact Monitor engagement and performance of active content marketing campaigns to ensure delivery against client KPIs. Create and deliver clear, insightful reports (Excel, PowerPoint) at key campaign milestones. Analyse and optimise campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, AT Internet, Tableau or Power BI. Provide actionable insights, recommendations and performance forecasts to support pitches and campaign development. Benchmark performance and collaborate with global BBC StoryWorks teams to identify trends, audience behaviours and best practices. Essential Criteria YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights clearly. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, IF statements). Understanding of the digital media and social media landscape. Experience using analytical tools such as Google Ad Manager, Tableau or Piano. Understanding of analytics and ad serving technologies (Omniture, Moat, IAS, Google Ad Manager, TripleLift). Desired But Not Required Familiarity with social media distribution tactics and ad networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google). Experience working with branded content or digital storytelling. Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial, sales and research teams. A proactive interest in digital trends, audience behaviour and content performance.
