Interim Recruitment Manager Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days on-site per week)
Rate: £350–£400 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 9 months

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead and enhance recruitment operations within a large,plex public sector organisation. This interim role offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic resourcing initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and drive data-led improvements across the candidate journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver and embed a strategic recruitment plan aligned with workforce needs.
2. Lead and develop a team of Resourcing Partners to deliver high-quality recruitment services.
3. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and a positive candidate experience.
4. Implement performance frameworks using SLAs, KPIs, and other metrics.
5. Use data and market insight to drive continuous improvement and campaign effectiveness.
6. Lead senior-level recruitment campaigns and advise leadership on talent assessment best practice.
7. Support digital transformation of recruitment processes, including system reimplementation.
8. Deputise for the Head of Resourcing as required.
Essential Criteria
9. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, Resourcing, or Talent Development.
10. Proven leadership in high-volume recruitment environments.
11. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
12. Experience inplex organisational settings with a track record of innovation.
13. Excellent IT and reporting skills, with a data-driven approach to performance improvement.
