The role
* Actively participate in developing UK practice and promote the company to existing and prospective clients.
* Conducting geotechnical site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting.
* Delivery of high standard geotechnical designs.
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects
* Planning and managing large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
What you need to succeed
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
* Minimum 8-10years industry experience
* Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)
* An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
* Well-developed consulting skills
* Ability to manage client relationships and expectations
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
* Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent
