Anderson Knight are recruiting a hands-on and technically skilled individual to join our clients dynamic Finance team. This key role will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial processes. You will lead a small, dedicated team and play a pivotal role in maintaining strong financial control across the organisation. As Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of Financial Accounts and Cash functions, including Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany balances, and Cash Allocations. You will be the crucial link between the transactional finance team and the wider business, supporting projects such as acquisitions, audits, and banking initiatives, while driving continuous improvements in financial processes. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the Financial Accounts and Cash teams, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and efficient processes. * Develop, monitor, and report on departmental KPIs to drive performance and identify areas for improvement. * Maintain the Risk and Control Framework for the Financial Accounts and Cash functions. * Oversee the Fixed Asset process, including presenting at Capital Committee meetings. * Manage bank reconciliation systems and processes, ensuring timely and accurate sign-off of reconciliations. * Lead month-end close activities, including sales and nominal ledger rollovers. * Review and monitor intercompany group balances, including interest calculations. * Ensure unallocated cash is reviewed and resolved promptly. * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all relevant processes within the function. * Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and other departments. * Provide support for ad-hoc banking projects, acquisitions, and integration activities. * Assist with both internal and external audits as required. * Continuously seek and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. About You: We’re looking for a fully qualified accountant with strong technical expertise to manage a small finance team and key processes. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including at Capital Committee meetings. Essential Skills & Experience: * Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). * Proven experience leading and managing a finance team. * Strong technical expertise, particularly in Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation processes. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. * A strong focus on control and compliance, with a commitment to best practice.
