We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Solihull site. Our Production facility at our site in Solihull is a fast paced, multi shift operation that requires quick thinking and responsive maintenance support to ensure we continue to deliver our products to our customer in sequence and in time.
Responsibilities
* Plan, advise and modify as required maintenance scheduling of machinery and Plant.
* Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure i.e. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic etc.
* Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment
* Maintain the technical infrastructure of the UK plant building.
* Plan, order and administrate spare parts and Production related consumables..
* Assist the central technical departments in carrying out technical changes and improvements including relocations / Modifications
* Create, modify and follow Optimise procedures
* Reduce year on year maintenance costs and ensure delivery of preventative maintenance KPI\'s
Skills and experience required
* Several years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* City and Guilds 2330 Electrical Installation Level 2
* Electrical Installation Level 3
* IEE 17 th Wiring Regulations
* City and Guild Level 3 Maintenance Engineering
* IPAF Access licence
* BTEC National Certificate in Electronics
* Pneumatik Fest/City and Guild
Applicants MUST have a fully time served (Electrical or Mechancial) apprenticeship, applicant who don\'t will be automatically rejected
