Role: CNC Operator / Setter
Duties
Operation &/or setting of CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings to allow inspection of parts against specification.
Use of precision measuring equipment to inspect and check all parts conform to specification.
Deburr and finish machined parts as required using suitable equipment.
Completion of job-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards.
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and Health and Safety is maintained at all times.
Perform routine daily maintenance tasks.
Work under minimal supervision.
Assist other departments as needed
Any other reasonable duties as required.
Criteria / Requirements
Understanding / experience of CNC methods and programming.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and consistency.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills.
Problem solving skills with a focus on process improvements.
Remuneration
£32,000 to £35,000 DOE.
30 holidays per year.

Monday Thursday 08.00 to 17.00.
Friday 08.00 to 15.00.
